Chapter 19 of the City Ordinances of the City of Brooklyn Center is hereby amended by adding sec- tions 19 -1501 and 19 -1502 as follows: REGULATING THE USE OF SKATEBOARDS AND IN -LINE SKATES Section 19- 1501. SKA'F,ROARAIN(C AND IN -LINE SKATING PROHIBITED. No person shall ride or propel skateboards. in -line skates. or roller skates on the "Posted" area at the City Civic Center Complex. except in connec- tion with an exhibition. commercial venture. organized plan. or similar organized event authorized by nermit issued by the City Manager. The term "Posted" areas shall mean areas that are clearly designated by signage pro- hibitive the use of skateboards. in -line skates. or roller skates. Section 19 -1502. PENALTY.
