AN ORDINANCE PLACING A MORATORI-
UM ON THE SITING OF ADULT ESTABLISH
MENTS WITHIN ANY ZONING DISTRICT OF
THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CF,NTER: AND
DIRECTING A STIJDY TO BE CONDUCTED
On March 27, 1995, the Brooklyn Center City Council
adopted the above titled ordinance, which was published in
the official newspaper on March 8, 1995, with modification
of the published text as follows:
Section 3 Planning and Zoning Study Moratorium
3.03 A moratorium on the development or location
of adult establishments is adopted pending
completion of the study and the adoption of
any amendments to the City's zoning ordi-
nance. During the term of this ordinance, no
adult establishment shall be located on any
nronerty: the 000 arty line of which is less
than 250 feet from the nearest property line of
any land in a residential zone, or any land
used for public day care library, park, reli-
gious institution, playground or Other public
recreational facility in any zoning district.
Copies of the adopted text of this ordinance are avail-
able in the office of the Deputy City Clerk during regular
City Hall office hours. If anyone should have any questions
regarding this or any other ordinance, please contact the
