Meeting Minutes
June 6, 1988
City Hall
Those present: Quenroe, Cohen, Vreeland, Roen, Countryman, Dorff, Alford,
Bergeland, Nyquist, LaCrosse.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes from May 31 were approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Balance of 12,242.83 as of 6/6/88. $197 received
from button and memorabilia sales; $5,016 received from Ambassadors.
BUTTON SALES/MEMORABILIA: Albright has started the door to door campaign.
Dorff ordered 500 more buttons.
AMBASSADORS: Car dealers are giving away $500. A coupon to that effect
will be distributed in tabloid and other flyers.
. Discussion on whether Earle Brown Days Committee is eligible. -Motion
passed to allow anyone to register for coupon and car dealers' drawings
unless otherwise stated.
COMMITTEE REPORTS: Motion made by Vreeland, seconded by Bergeland to
eliminate auction from tabloid due to lack of auction items. Passed.
A silent auction at Sunday In Central Park was suggested. The owners
of items donated will be contacted to see if they want their's included.
TABLOID: Vreeland will get a cost from Post to copy the car dealer's ad.
PARADE: LaCrosse will contact Nerburn to order additional banner needed
for major sponsors. Dorff will talk to high school about getting students
to carry.
Bergeland & LaCrosse will tabulate band results.
PUBLICITY: We will not do a flyer with the Post. Instead Vreeland & Dorff
will order posters to distribute throughout community.
Quenroe said the Post had alot of information about the Carnival last week.
