APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes from June 5 were approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Balance of $7,731.43 as of 5/31/89.
PUBLICITY: Flyers have been sent to the Minnesota office of
Tourism. The North Metro Convention Bureau is giving EBD $1600 for
promotion. We will spend $1400 on WCCO radio ads and $200 on a
Star Tribune ad in the Community section outside Brooklyn Center.
WCCO will also give us extra PSA's.
The posters were handed out. Everyone is asked to distribute to
local businesses or wherever. Dorff will distribute to the Village
North area.
CARNIVAL: Skip Reinke failed to provide adequate insurance naming
the City of Brooklyn Center and Earle Brown Days, Inc. as

having food vendors. He ha's retained an attorney and wishes to get
out of the contract due to another engagement. A motion was made
by Slupske, seconded by Dorff to cancel the carnival and to have
Graffunder arrange for a mutual release. Motion passed
unanimously.

for $4. Eight dozen will be ordered.
