Meeting Minutes
June 19, 1989
City Hall
THOSE PRESENT: Nerburn, Countryman, Quenroe, Bergeland, Jacobsen,
Dorff, Alford, Chisenhall, Graham, Kaehler, Cohen, Slupske, and
LaCrosse.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: The minutes from June 12 were approved.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Balance of $7,773.07 as of 6/16/89. Ambassadors
will go strong this week.
PARADE: 120 units, 15 high school bands plus 3 other bands.
Schmidt Music is donating a trophy. KANO will broadcast the
parade.
AMBASSADORS: Are expecting money from City vendors. Do not put
auto dealers banner in the parade.
BUTTONS/MEMORABILIA: Got the new caps. Parade workers will get
one. Old caps will be distributed to park and street workers.
AUCTION: Items are coming in slow. Bergeland asked committee
members to donate used items. Handbill will be distributed at the
parade.
STREET DANCE: Jacobsen took picture of group to Rita at the Post.
The library is putting flyers in books as people check them out.
BANNERS: Dorff will be in charge of the banner/sign committee in
1990. He would like to resign as button chairman.
ICE CREAM SOCIAL: Nyquist will MC. Cohen will distribute
certificates and will find someone to give the invocation.
JUNIOR ROYALTY: The junior royalty made a special appearance.
They introduced themselves and thanked the Earle Brown Days
committee for their support.
NEXT MEETING: Monday, July JL0, 7:30 a.m. City Hall Council
Chambers.
