RESOLUTION NO. 2009-116
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE DONATION OF THE
STALKER DSR 2X TRAFFIC RADAR RECEIVED FROM THE SAFE SOBER
MAY MOBILIZATION DRAWING
WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center has received a Stalker DSR 2X radar valued
at $2,778.00 from the Safe Sober May Mobilization drawing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council accepts this donation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of this donation and commends the Safe
Sober Program for its efforts to promote traffic safety in the State of Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center:
1. Acce ts and acknowled es the donation with ratitude.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Mark Yelich
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Tim Roche, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following votect against the same: none
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
