410 MEMORANDUM
TO:
FROM: Tom Bublitz, Assistant EDA Coordinator
DATE: June 15, 1992
SUBJECT: 1992 Paint-A-Thon Program
Earle Brown Neighborhood Housing Advisory Committee
I contacted the Paint- A -Thon office this past week, and they indicated that we should have at
least two (2) homes to choose from in the southeast neighborhood. The two applications
received from the southeast neighborhood that will be approved are from Ms. Bernice Genosky,
5316 Dupont Avenue North and Thomas and Eleanor Townsend, 5448 Colfax Avenue North.
I have indicated in writing to the Paint -A -Thon program that our group would be willing to paint
one of these homes.
Since we now have a home in the southeast neighborhood to paint, we need to come up with a
painting team by July 8th. If you have any persons interested in joining our Paint -A -Thon team,
please have them sign the volunteer sign up sheet distributed at the last committee meeting.
Please note that individuals must sign the sheets to qualify for the program, and we cannot print
or type their names on the sheets for them. It must be a signature. We do not need to have all
the names ready for our June 18th meeting, but I would like to determine at that meeting
whether we believe we will be able to assemble a team by July 8th.
