HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-106 CCRMember Kay Tasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-106 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION OF GRAYDON BOECK FOR HIS DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION 1 WHEREAS, Graydon Boeck served on the Brooklyn Center Planning Commission from January 23, 1995, through August 6, 2007; and WHEREAS, Graydon Boeck has made significant contributions as a member of the Planning Commission, including review of land use, redevelopment, platting, rezoning and special use applications, plan approval, variances, and review of the Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, his leadership and expertise have been greatly appreciated by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, his public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit the gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, it is highly appropriate that his service to the community should be recognized and expressed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that Graydon Boeck is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center, and this resolution serves as a visible and lasting expressing of gratitude for the leadership and service he has rendered to the citizens of Brooklyn Center. August 13, 2007 Date - 46 Mayor A / 4~Auztg~ ATTEST: City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Dan Ryan and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Willson, kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
