adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-121
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 2008-05,06,07,
AND 08, XERXES AVENUE AND NORTHWAY DRIVE STREET, STORM
DRAINAGE AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City's Capital Improvements Program identifies specific streets for
proposed infrastructure improvements in 2008; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of proposed street and utility
improvements along Xerxes Avenue and Northway Drive; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to begin the process of information gathering and
solicitation of public comments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota that:
1. Improvement Project Nos. 2008-05, 06, 07, and 08, Xerxes Avenue and Northway
Drive Street, Storm Drainage and Utility Improvements are hereby established.
2. Staff is directed to begin field work, contact property owners located in the project
areas to obtain comments and input, and hold public informational meetings with
property owners.
3. The City Engineer shall prepare a project feasibility report for review by the City
Council in February 2008.
4. Estimated project costs for preliminary field work, geotechnical investigations, and
sewer televising costs are hereby approved:

Field Survey $ 18,000.00
GeotechnicalInvestigation $ 6,000.00
Estimated costs $ 36,000.00
REVENUES AMOUNT
Sanitary Sewer Utility Fund $ 9,000.00
Water Utility Fund $ 9,000.00
Storm Sewer Utility Fund $ 9,000.00
Street Construction Fund $ 9,000.00
Estimated Revenues $ 36,000.00

The mot ion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Mary O Connor
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof-
Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
