adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-125
RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR
THE 2008 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the
governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that a preliminary budget be
adopted for funds using property tax revenues along with the adoption of the preliminary
property tax levy; and
WHEREAS, a preliminary property tax levy of $ 12,437,093 has been
proposed for adoption the basis for the budget proposed herewith.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Brooklyn Center that the following amounts be adopted as the preliminary budget for
property tax supported funds appropriated as follows:

Property Tax Levy
less: Amount for Uncollectible
Sales Tax - Lodging Tax Gross Receipts
Licenses & Permits
Intergovernmental Revenues
General Government Service Charges
Recreation Fees and Charges
Public Safety Service Charges

Miscellaneous Revenues
Subtotal General Fund

The motion for adoption of the forgoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Kay Lasman
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against same: Mary O'Connor;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
