HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-125 CCRMember Dan Ryan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-125 RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE 2008 FISCAL YEAR WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that a preliminary budget be adopted for funds using property tax revenues along with the adoption of the preliminary property tax levy; and WHEREAS, a preliminary property tax levy of $ 12,437,093 has been proposed for adoption the basis for the budget proposed herewith. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the following amounts be adopted as the preliminary budget for property tax supported funds appropriated as follows: REVENUES: General Fund Property Tax Levy less: Amount for Uncollectible Sales Tax - Lodging Tax Gross Receipts Licenses & Permits Intergovernmental Revenues General Government Service Charges Recreation Fees and Charges Public Safety Service Charges Fines & Forfeitures Miscellaneous Revenues Subtotal General Fund 2004A Debt Service Property Tax Levy Miscellaneous Revenues Subtotal Debt Service Housing and Redevelopment Authority Property Tax Levy TOTAL BUDGETED REVENUES $ 11,404,750 (171,071) 665,000 723,845 1,652,008 33,125 645,379 15,600 248,000 302.200 $ 15,518,836 $ 730,152 16.000 $ 746,152 $ 302,191 S 16.567.179 RESOLUTION NO. 2007-125 EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS: General Fund Operating Divisions Reimbursements from Other Funds Transfers to Capital Projects Funds Subtotal General Fund Debt Service 2004 A G.O.
