RESOLUTION NO. 2007-131
introduced the following resolution and moved its
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR A DONATION FROM THE
BROOKLYN CENTER AMERICAN LEGION POST 630
WHEREAS, the Brooklyn Center American Legion has presented to the City a donation
in the amount of two thousand seven hundred dollars ($2,700) to fund the cost of purchasing and
installing a defibrillator unit at the Public Works Maintenance Facility; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of the donation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota, that the City Council acknowledges the donations with gratitude and appropriates
the donation to the City Initiatives Grant Fund (28600-4359) for future purchase of a defibrillator unit at
the Public Works Maintenance Facility.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Dan Ryan
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.
Tim. Willson, Kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, Dan Ryan, and Mark Yelich;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
