HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-045 CCRMember Mark Yelich introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2007-45 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING CITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2007-15, TIF DISTRICT NO. 3 WATER QUALITY TREATMENT IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council has identified potential water quality treatment improvements generally consisting of a regional underground treatment device for a large tributary drainage area to the Mississippi River; and WHEREAS, said water quality treatment improvements provide a direct benefit to properties located within the boundary of Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District No. 3; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the scope of said regional water quality treatment improvements; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to begin the process of information gathering and preparation of a project Feasibility Report for said regional water quality treatment improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. Improvement Project No. 2007-15, TIF District No. 3 Water Quality Treatment Improvements is hereby established. 2. The estimated project costs for preliminary field work, technical analysis, geotechnical investigations, and feasibility report are authorized as follows: ESTIMATED COST AMOUNT Engineering and Surveying $10,500 Legal and Administration $ 1,500 Geotechnical Analysis $ 1.800 Estimated costs $13,800 4. The project revenue for the above stated costs shall be derived from tax increment revenues (administrative funding) from Tax Increment Finance District No. 3. March 12. 2007 Date Mayor i ATTEST: Y, wwx City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kay Tasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Tim Willson, Kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, and Mark Yelich; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
