moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2007-58
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATIONS AND AWARDING A
CONTRACT, IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2007-12, STORM DAMAGE
REPAIRS FOR PUBLIC BUILDINGS
WHEREAS, a severe storm event in September 2005 resulted in hail and wind
damage to various City buildings; and
WHEREAS, quotations for the repair of building damage were solicited from
qualified contractors, said quotations being summarized on the Tabulation of Construction Quotation
attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Lindstrom Restoration Services is the lowest responsible
bidder for the proposed work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into a contract
with Lindstrom Restoration Services of Plymouth, Minnesota in the name of
the City of Brooklyn Center, for Improvement Project No. 2007-12, Storm
Damage Repairs for Public Buildings, according to the plans and
specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Engineer.
2. The estimated project cost is $135,911.39. The estimated project revenues
are $133,411.39 in insurance reimbursement and $2,500 from the General
Government Buildings Business Unit (41940).

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Mary O'Connor;
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Tim Iillson, Kay Lasman, Mary O'Connor, Dan Ryan, ardNlark Yelch;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
