Member introduced the following resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2006-106
RESOLUTION REGARDING CANVASS OF SEPTEMBER 12, 2006, PRIMARY
ELECTION
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that it is
hereby determined by official canvass that Tim Willson and Kathleen Carmody received the highest
number of votes in the September 12, 2006, primary election and are declared to be the nominees for
the office of Mayor of the City of Brooklyn Center.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center
that the City Clerk is directed to place the names of the nominees on the general election ballot.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereo£
and the following voted against the same:
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
