HomeMy WebLinkAbout2009-121 CCR Member �ay Zasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2009-121 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION FOR THE DEDICATED PUBLIC SERVICE OF OFFICER CLARK MESSENBRINK WHEREAS, Officer Clark Messenbrink was hired as a police officer by the City of Brooklyn Center Police Department, on April 8, 1980; and WHEREAS, Officer Messenbrink has held numerous assignments as an officer within the department to include DARE officer and canine handler; and WHEREAS, Officer Messenbrink has served with the Emergency Operations Unit for 25 years. His last years of service to the unit was in the role of Assistant Team Leader; and WHEREAS, Officer Messenbrink has received numerous commendations for outstanding police work; and WHEREAS, Officer Messenbrink has received letters of thanks from numerous citizens for assistance that he has rendered; and WHEREAS, his dedicated public service and civic effort for the betterment of the community merit gratitude of the citizens of Brooklyn Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, upon the recommendation of the City Manager, that the dedicated public service of Officer Clark Messenbrink is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.
