HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-083 CCRMember Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2006-83 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SOLICITATION OF BIDS FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF PUMP ENGINE NO. 6 IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, Pump Engine No. 6 was scheduled for replacement in 2007; and WHEREAS, in recent months the cost of steel has escalated and new emission standards have added significant costs to the purchase of this type of equipment; and WHEREAS, it is possible that by soliciting bids for this type of equipment now there is a potential cost savings of up to $20,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, to authorize to solicit bids for the replacement of Pump Engine No. 6 in the Fire Department.
