HomeMy WebLinkAbout2006-104 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. gosh-j(azi RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PRELIMINARY BUDGET FOR THE 2007 FISCAL YEAR WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that a preliminary budget be adopted for funds using property tax revenues along with the adoption of the preliminary property tax levy; and WHEREAS, a preliminary property tax levy of $ 11,958,743 has been proposed for adoption the basis for the budget proposed herewith; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the following amounts be adopted as the preliminary budget for property tax supported funds appropriated as follows: REVENUES: General Fund Property Tax Levy $ 10,939,788 less: Amount for Uncollectible (218,795) Sales Tax - Lodging Tax Gross Receipts 650,000 Licenses & Permits 771,443 Intergovernmental Revenues 1,290,030 General Government Service Charges 31,040 Recreation Fees and Charges 626,251 Public Safety services Charges 13,500 Fines & Forfeitures 240,000 Miscellaneous Revenues 201,115 Subtotal General Fund $ 14,544,372 Debt Service Property Tax Levy $ 753,955 Special Assessments 1,003,768 Miscellaneous Revenues 69,450 Subtotal Debt Service $ 1,827,173 Housing and Redevelopment Authoritv Property Tax Levy $ 265,000 TOTAL BUDGETED REVENUES S 16.636.545 RESOLUTION NO. 2006-104 EXPENDITURE APPROPRIATIONS: General Fund Operating Divisions Reimbursements from Other Funds Transfers to Capital Projects Funds Subtotal General Fund Debt Service 1996 A G.O.
