HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-182 CCRMember Kathleen Carmody introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2005-182 RESOLUTION APPROVING A FINAL TAX CAPACITY LEVY FOR THE GENERAL FUND AND DEBT SERVICE FUNDS AND MARKET VALUE TAX LEVIES FOR DEBT SERVICE AND THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR 2006 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center is the governing body of the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes require that the final property tax levy be provided to the Hennepin County Auditor no later than December 28, 2005. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that a tax is hereby levied on all taxable real and personal property within the City of Brooklyn Center for the purpose and sums as follows: General Fund 1996 A-General Obligation Improvement Bonds Subtotal Tax Capacity Levies: 2004 A-Police and Fire Building Refunding Bonds Subtotal Market Value Levy for Debt Service Housing and Redevelopment Authority Subtotal Market Value Levy for HRA Total Levy December 12, 2005 Date 0 ATTEST: 67~-- City Clerk $10,494,126 $ 118,830 $10,612,956 $ 757,394 $ 757,394 $ 257,065 $ 257,065 $11.627.415 94Ly~ Maydr The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kay Lasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kathleen Carmody, Kay lasman, and Diane Niesen; and the following voted against the same: Mary 0' Conoor; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed andadopted.
