HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-157 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2004-157 RESOLUTION ADOPTING 2005 STREETLIGHT RATES AND CHARGES WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center Charter requires that municipal utilities be self- supporting through revenue provided by a uniform schedule of rates, fees and charges; and WHEREAS, this uniform schedule shall be called the "Public Utility Rate Schedule" and shall be adopted by resolution of the City Council; and WHEREAS, financial requirements for the utility funds have been identified and reviewed by the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the following Street Light Utility rates and charges are hereby adopted and shall be effective for all billings issued on or after January 1, 2005. 2005 STREET LIGHT UTILITY RATE SCHEDULE Street Light Rates and Charges Quarterly Rates Customer 2005 Ouarterly Charge Per Dwelling Unit: Single, Double and Multiple Family Residential $3.21 Per Acre: Parks Schools, Government Buildings, Churches Retail and Service-Office Commercial and Industrial Vacant Land and Open Space $5.36 $10.71 $16.07 $16.07 As Assigned Delinquent account, quarterly charge Certification for collection with property taxes November 8. 2004 )ate ATTEST: X~ MA 1'1.
