HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-132 CCRMember Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2004-132 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEE FOR POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS AND DANGEROUS DOG REGISTRATION 1 WHEREAS, on June 14, 2004, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2004-12 relating to the regulation of potentially dangerous and dangerous dogs in the City of Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, Section 1-265 of the City Code of Ordinances provides that the City will charge the owner a fee to obtain a certificate of registration for a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog and a reasonable fee to cover its administrative costs and the costs of a warning symbol. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the annual fee for the registration of a potentially dangerous or dangerous dog shall be $35.00 and shall not be prorated or refunded.
