HomeMy WebLinkAbout1981-011 HRARMember Bill Fignar introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 81-11 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES WITH GARY SOLOMONSON ASSOCIATES, INCORPORATED WHEREAS, the City's purchasing policy requires the Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority to award contracts for services for contracts of $2,000 or more upon recommendation of the HRA Director; and WHEREAS, the HRA Director has obtained quotations for a contract for services to conduct a Market Feasability Study regarding the proposed Elderly Housing Project in Brooklyn Center; and WHEREAS, the following quotations have been received for said services: Gary Solomonson Associates, Incorporated $9,188 Development Concept Corporation $9,200 ; and 1 WHEREAS, the HRA Director has determined that the quotation of Gary Solomonson Associates, Incorporated in the amount of $9,188 is the best quotation submitted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tony Kuefler , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. October 19, 1981 ~A Date CY}' NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the HRA Chairman and HRA Director are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement for professional services with Gary Solomonson Associates, Incorporated to perform a Market Feasability Report for the proposed Elderly Housing Project in Brooklyn Center.
