SPECIAL SESSION
DECEMBER 3, 1979

CAIN TO ORDER
The Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority met in special
session and was called to order by Chairman Dean Nyquist at 8:41 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Chairman Dean Nyquist, Commissioners Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and
Celia Scott. Also present was HRA Director Gerald Splinter, Director
of public forks Sy Knapp, Director of Planning and Inspection Ron Warren,
Director of Finance Paul Holmlund, City Attorney Richard Schieffer, and
Administrative Assistants Brad Hoffman and Tom Bublitz.
Chairman Nyquist noted that Commissioner Lhotka had informed him that he
was not able to attend this evening's special meeting and was, therefore,
excused.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES -NOVEMBER 19, 1979
There was a motion by Commissioner Scott and seconded by Commissioner Fignar
to approve the November 19, 1979 HRA special meeting as submitted. Voting"n
favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners Kuefler, Fignar, and Scott. Voting
against: none. The motion passed unanimously.
The,HRA Director introduced a resolution approving and authorizing admini-
strative staff approval of emergency home rehabilitation grants.
RESOLUTION NO. 79-8
Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF APPROVAL OF
EMERGENCY HOME REHABILITATION GRANTS
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member Bill Fignar, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist,-Tony Kuefler, Bill Fignar, and
Celia Scott; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
ADJOURNMENT
There was a motion by Commissioner Kuefler and seconded by Commissioner Fignar
to adjourn the meeting. Voting in favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners
Kuefler, Fignar, and Scott. Voting against: none. The motion passed
unanimously. The Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority adjourned
at 8:50 p.m.
