HomeMy WebLinkAbout1979 03-12 HRAMMINUTES OF THE,PROCEEDINGS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTE IN THE COUNTY OF HENNEPIN AND THE STATE OF MINNESOTA SPIECIAL SESSION MARCH 12, 1979 CITY HALL CALL TO ORDER The Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority met in special session and was called to order by Chairman Dean Nyquist at 10:40 p.m. ROLL CALL Chairman Dean Nyquist, Commissioners Tony Kuefler, Gene Lhotka, and Celia Scott. Also present were HRA Director Gerald Splinter, Acting Director of Public Works James Noska, Director of Finance Paul Holmlund, City Attorney Richard Schieffer, Director of Planning and Inspection Ron Warren, Building Official Will Dahn, Fire Marshal Linus Manderfeld, and Administrative Assistants Mary Harty and Brad Hoffman. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 27, 1978 There was a motion by Commissioner Scott and seconded by Commissioner Kuefler to approve the minutes of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting of September 27, 1978 as submitted. Voting in favor Chairman Nyquist, Commis- sioners Kuefler and Scott_ Voting against: none. The motion passed. There was a motion by Commissioner Scott and seconded by Commissioner Lhotka to approve payment for legal consultation on proposed HRA legislation. Voting in favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners Kuefler, Lhotka, and Scott. Voting against: none. The motion passed unanimously. Commissioner Kuefler noted the Commission should establish depositories for HRA funds for 1979. The HRA Director indicated resolutions establishing depositories will be presented for Council consideration at the next meeting. ADJOURNMENT There was a motion by Commissioner Kuefler and seconded by Commissioner Scott to adjourn the Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting. Noting in favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners Kuefler, Lhotka, and Scott. Voting against: none. The motion passed unanimously. The Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting was adjourned at 10:43 p.m. 3-12-79 _1_
