HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985 12-11 HRAMMINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER IN THE COUNTY OF HENNEPIN AND THE STATE OF MINNESOTA SPECIAL SESSION DECEMBER 11, 1985 CITY HALL CALL TO ORDER The Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority met in special session and was called to order by Chairman Dean Nyquist at 7:15 p.m. ROLL CALL Chairman Dean Nyquist, Commissioners Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis. Also present were HRA Director Gerald Splinter, Housing Coordinator Brad Hoffman, City Attorney Bill Jordan, and Deputy City Clerk Geralyn Barone. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - NOVEMBER 18, 1985 There was a motion by Commissioner Scott and seconded by Commissioner Hawes to approve the minutes of the November 18, 1985 Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority meeting as submitted. Voting in favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners Lhotka, Scott, Hawes, and Theis. Voting against: none. The motion passed unanimously. RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO. 85-20 Member Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEVELOPERS AGREEMENT The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: Gene Lhotka, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 85-21 Member Gene Lhotka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTATION ON ONE (1) COMPUTER The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Bill Hawes, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Dean Nyquist, Gene Lhotka, Celia Scott, Bill Hawes, and Rich Theis; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ADJOURNMENT There was a motion by Commissioner Hawes and seconded by Chairman Nyquist to adjourn 12-11-85 _1_ the meeting. Voting in favor: Chairman Nyquist, Commissioners L,hotka, Scott, Hawes, and Theis. Voting against: none. The motion passed unanimously.
