Mary Welch seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. •The committee would continue to be called the Discover the Center steering committee •The committee would recommend appointment of its own members with final approval by the city council *The committee would make recommendations to the council on how monies from the funds would be expended and no money would be spent by the council without input from the committee •Money contributed to the fund would only be expended for Discover the Center activities and programs. The committee instructed staff to prepare the memo based on the above provisions and present it to council at the January 8 meeting.
