HomeMy WebLinkAbout2004-001 HRARCommissioner Kay Lasman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: HRA RESOLUTION N0.2004-O1 RESOLUTION SELECTING THE NO WAIVER OPTION FOR STATUTORY TORT LIABILITY WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) has the option to waive its protection under tort liability limitations as contained in Minnesota Statute; and WHEREAS, the statutory tort limitation is $300,000 per individual and an aggregate of $1,000,000 per incident; and policy year. WHEREAS, the HRA is required to make formal declaration of its intent each NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Brooklyn Center that it chooses not to waive its rights to limited liability under Minnesota State Statutes. Rgn .mh "r 13, 2-004 Date hair The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by commissioner Kathleen Carmody and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kathleen Carmody, Kay Lasman, Diane Niesen, and Bob Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
