SPECIAL SESSION

CALL TO ORDER
The Brooklyn Center Housing and Redevelopment Authority met in special session and was
called to order by Chairman Todd Paulson at 8:43 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Chairman Todd Paulson, Commissioners Celia Scott, Dave Rosene, Barb Kalligher, and
Kristen Mann. Also present were HRA Director Gerald Splinter, City Attorney Charlie
LeFevere, Director of Community Development Brad Hoffman, Planning and Zoning
Specialist Ron Warren, and Council Secretary Kathy Stratton.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
SEPTEMBER 27.1993 - SPECIAL SESSION

There was a motion by Commissioner Rosene and seconded by Commissioner Scott to
approve the minutes of the September 27, 1993, HRA meeting as printed. The motion
passed unanimously.
1994 PROPOSED HRA BUDGET
There was a motion by Commissioner Kalligher and seconded by Commissioner Scott to
accept the Proposed 1994 HRA Budget which is contained within the EDA Budget. The
motion passed unanimously.
RESOLUTIONS
RESOLUTION NO. 93-03
Commissioner Kristen Mann introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FINAL BROOKLYN CENTER HOUSING AND
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1994 PURSUANT TO
MSA CHAPTER 469.033, SUBDIVISION 6 AND MSA CHAPTER 469.107,
SUBDIVISION 1

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Commissioner Barb Kalligher, and the motion passed unanimously.
RESOLUTION NO. 93-04
Commissioner Celia Scott introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FINAL TAX LEVY FOR THE BROOKLYN
CENTER HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY FOR THE YEAR 1994
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
Commissioner Barb Kalligher, and the motion passed unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT
There was a motion by Commissioner Kalligher and seconded by Commissioner Rosene to
adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously. The Brooklyn Center Housing and
Redevelopment Authority adjourned at 8:45 p.m.
