HomeMy WebLinkAbout1973-16 10-01 CCO CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER ORDINANCE NO. 73-1 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CITY ORDINANCES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section l: Chapter 5 of the City Ordinances is hereby amended as follows: Section 5 -201. ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE. There is hereby adopted by the City of Brooklyn Center for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters, being particularly the [1 966] 1970 edition thereof, save and except such portions as are inconsistent with other City Ordinances, of which code not less than three (3) copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Brooklyn Center and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this ordinance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the City of Brooklyn Center. Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective after adoption and upon thirty (30) days following its legal publication. Adopted this 1st day of October 1973.
