adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2004-113
RESOLUTION AMENDING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT LEVY ROLL NOS. 15999
AND 16000 TO PROVIDE FOR THE DEFERMENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council
has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed Special Assessment Levy Nos.
15999 and 16000 for the following improvements:
73rd AVENUE STREET AND STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 2004-06
WHEREAS, Special Assessment Levy Nos. 15999 and 16000 were approved by the
City Council on April 12, 2004; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established a program to defer a portion of the
special assessments of qualifying persons who are at least 65 years of age or older or who are retired
due to permanent and total disability whose households meet certain financial characteristics.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn
Center, Minnesota that:
1. A certain property owner is eligible to defer a portion of their special
assessment. Special Assessment Levy No. 15999 is hereby amended to reduce
the previous amount of $2,806.00 from the following assessments to the new
amount as noted:

Special Assessment Levy No. 16000 is hereby amended to reduce the previous
amount of $892.00 from the following assessments to the new amount as
noted:

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Kathleen Carmody
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof.
Myrna Kragness, Kathleen Carmody, Kay la.sman, Diane Niesen, and Bob Peppe;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
