HomeMy WebLinkAbout2003-184 CCRMember Bob Peppe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003-184 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION FOR AND APPRECIATION OF THE PUBLIC SERVICE OF ORGANIZATIONS PARTICIPATING IN BROOKLYN CENTER'S ADOPT-A-PARK, ADOPT-A-TRAIL, AND ADOPT- A-STREET PROGRAMS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center determined that it is in the City's interest to operate volunteer programs that involve the community in the maintenance of city parks, trails, and streets; and WHEREAS, the following organizations and individuals have generously volunteered their time and energy participating in the Adopt-A-Park, Adopt-A-Trail, and Adopt-A- Street programs; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate that their service to the community be recognized. 1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the public service of the following groups and individuals is hereby recognized and appreciated: Allina Receivable Services Applebee's CenterField Cafe & Bar Boy Scout Troop #401 Boy Scout Troop #454 Brookdale Chrysler Plymouth Brooklyn Center High School Centaurs Eclipse Program B.C.
