Home My WebLink About1967-10 07-10 CCO CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER ORDINANCE NO, 67 -10 • AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 5 OF THE CITY ORDINANCES PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF THE 1965 EDITION OF THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE OF THE NATIONAL BOARD OF FIRE UNDERWRITERS THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Section 5 -201 of the City Ordinances is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 5 -201. ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE. There is hereby adopted by the City of Brooklvn Center for the purpose of orescribinq regulations governinq conditions hazardous to life and prop_ erty from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters, beinq particularly the 1965 edition thereof, save and except such portions as are inconsistent with other City ordinances, of which code not less than three (3) copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Clerk of the City_ of Brooklyn Center and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this ordinance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the City of Brooklyn Center. (Section 5 -201. ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE. There is hereby adopted by the Village of Brooklyn Center for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion, that certain code known as the Fire Prevention Code recommended by the National Board of Fire Underwriters, being particularly the 1953 edition thereof and the whole thereof together with the 1954 amendments thereto, save and except such portions as are inconsistent with other Village ordinances, of which code not less than three (3) copies have been and now are filed in the office of the Clerk of the Village of Brooklyn Center and the same are hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein, and from the date on which this ordinance shall take effect, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the Village of Brooklyn Center.) Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective after adoption and thirty days following its legal publication. Adopted this 10th day of Pl 1967.
