adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 2002-] -33
RESOLUTION EXPRESSING RECOGNITION AND APPRECIATION FOR THE
PUBLIC SERVICE OF DETECTIVE MICHAEL KAULFUSS
WHEREAS, Detective Kaulfuss was hired as a police officer by the City of Brooklyn
Center, Police Department, on October 23, 1979, serving as a patrol officer from October 23, 1979,
to September 1988 when he was promoted to detective; and
WHEREAS, Detective Kaulfuss has served as a member of the Anoka-Hennepin
Drug Task Force, the Financial Crimes Task Force, is a Firearms Instructor, and has received
numerous commendations for police work and letters of thanks from citizens.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Brooklyn Center, upon the recommendation of the City Manager, that the dedicated public service of
Detective Michael Kaulfuss is hereby recognized and appreciated by the City of Brooklyn Center.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Ed Nelson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Myrna Kragness, Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, Bob Peppe, and Tim Ricker;
and the following voted against the same: none;
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
