HomeMy WebLinkAbout1967-13 07-24 CCO CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER ORDINANCE NO. 67 -13 AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING GOLF ACTIVITIES IN CITY PARKS AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION THEREOF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Chapter 19 of the City Ordinances is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following: Section 19 -1201. GOLF ACTIVITIES PROHIBITED IN CITY PARKS. No person shall play or practice golf nor use qolf equipment of any kind in a public park within the City of Brooklyn Center, except under the direct supervision of an employee of the Department of Parks and Recreation or as a scheduled part of the City's Park and Recreation program. Section 19 -1202. PENALTY. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not more than one hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than 90 days. Section 2: This ordinance shall be effective after adoption and thirty days following its legal publication.
