HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-083 CCRMember Kay La.sman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2002-83 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE CITY OF BROOKLYN CENTER FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR ENDED DECEMBER 31, 2001 1 WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is required by State Statute and City Charter to annually produce financial statements for submission to the Office of the State Auditor by June 30th; and WHEREAS, the City of Brooklyn Center is required to provide an auditor's opinion as to the representations in the annual financial statements; and WHEREAS, the attached financial statements have been audited by Deloitte & Touche LLP as required; and WHEREAS, Deloitte & Touche LLP have opined that the general purpose financial statements present fairly, in all material respects, the financial position of the City of Brooklyn Center as of December 31, 2001. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center that the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the City of Brooklyn Center for the calendar year ended December 31, 2001 is hereby accepted.
