HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-123 CCRf adoption: Member Kay ILasman introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 2001-123 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF SOFTBALL FIELD LIGHTS FOR EVERGREEN PARK 1 WHEREAS, the 2001 Capital Improvements Fund budget includes $200,000 for the purchase and installation of athletic field lights at the Evergreen Park softball fields, in accordance with the City's Destination Park Plan; and WHEREAS, the City of Rogers in cooperation with the Elk River School District has initiated a Cooperative Purchasing Venture which includes an item for the cooperative purchasing of athletic field lights; and WHEREAS, the. City of Brooklyn Center can through that Cooperative Purchasing Venture purchase athletic field lights for $179,866. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the purchase of athletic field lights and their installation through the City of Rogers Cooperative Purchasing Venture in the amount of $179,866 is hereby approved.
