Nelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2001-127 RESOLUTION AMENDING LEVY NOS. 15128 AND 15129 INACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT POLICY AMENDMENT REGARDING RESIDENTIAL USES IN COMMERCIAL ZONES WHEREAS, two properties on certified levy rolls 15128 and 15129 would be affected by the amendment to the Special Assessment Policy approved by the City Council on September 10, 2001; and WHEREAS, that policy amendment requires properties used for single family residential purposes in commercial zones be treated for special assessment purposes in the same manner as single- family properties in R-1 zones. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that levy rolls 15128 and 15129 are hereby amended to reduce the assessments on these two properties as detailed below: Property ID Original Assessment Amended Assessment 34-119-21-13-0009 Street $6,720.00 $4,580.00 Storm $3,360.00 $1,500.00 34-119-21-13-0076 Street $3,319.96 $2,290.00 Storm $1,659.98 $ 750.00 September 10, 2001 Date I ATTEST: - /1~b~- City Clerk tit-~a.,o Mayor o The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Tim Ricker and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Myrna Kragness, Kay Tasman, Ed Nelson, Bob Peppe, and Tim Ricker; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
