HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-058 CCRadoption: Member Bob Peppe introduced the following resolution and moved its RESOLUTION NO. 2001-58 RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF A REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO WILLOW LANE 1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that: 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of Willow Lane between Interstate 694 and the dead end located approximately 150 feet north of 66' Avenue North filed with the Council on April 9, 2001, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035. 2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and that person is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost- effective, and feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. `r-J ~ `6 / Date ATTEST: ~ mmj~i&k City Clerk G- ayor,~ ~J The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Ed Nelson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, and Bob Peppe; and the following voted against the same: none; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
