• PROHIBITING AND PUNISHING THE SAME
The Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center do ordain:
Sectionl. Chapter 19 of the Ordinances of the Village of Brooklyn
Center are hereby amended by adding thereto the following new sections:
Section 19 -213. Vagrancy Defined . Any person who shall have
no visible means of support, and live idly without employment or
settled place of abode, or loiter about the streets, pool halls,
restaurants, or other such places, or who shall be found trespassing
on private property and not able to account for his or her presence,
shall be deemed a vagrant.
Section 19 -214. Vagrancy Prohibited. No vagrant shall be permitted
on the streets or in any public place or elsewhere in this municipality.
Section 19 -215., Penalty. Any vagrant found within the limits of this
municipality shall be subject to arrest and upon conviction thereof
shall be punished by a fine or not more than one hundred dollars
($100.00) or be imprisoned for not more than ninety (9 0) days.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its legal publication.
