HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001-091 CCRMember Bob Peppe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2001-91 RESOLUTION EXPRESSING APPRECIATION FOR THE VOLUNTEER EFFORTS OF TARGET EMPLOYEES AT THE EUGENE HAGEL ARBORETUM 1 WHEREAS, employees of Brooklyn Center Target have generously volunteered their time and energy to improve the grounds and flower gardens at the Eugene Hagel Arboretum; and WHEREAS, the City Council is appreciative of volunteer programs that involve the community and commends Target Corporation for its civic efforts. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota that the public service of Brooklyn Center Target Employees is hereby recognized and appreciated. June 25, 2001 Date -'Kjt~~ ATTEST: u m City Clerk "'-&Mayor The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Kay Lasman and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof Myrna Kragness, Kay Lasman, Ed Nelson, Bob Peppe, and Tim Ricker; and the following voted against the same: none ; whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
