Section 3 -1005. Permit Required. Every; " "• "'
licensed house mover shall, in each and'
every instance, before raising, holding up'
or moving any building, obtain a permit'
therefor from the Building Inspector.
An application for such permit shall des-
ignate the origin and . destination of such
building, the route over which it is to be
moved, and shall state the time in which
the moving of such building will be com-
pleted.
No permit to move a 'building shall be
issued unless and until the following con-
ditions are fully complied with and ap-
proved. by the -Building' Inspector:
(a) The building to be moved must be
worth at least 50% of the cost of
a similar new building, as de-
termined by the Building Inspector.
(b) The Village, Engineer must certify'
that all sewer charges and water
bills '_payable against the property
from which theT building is to be:
moved'' have been paid and that all'
sewer and water connections have
" been plugged or'' discontinued at thej
curb ' line., or at -the main and that.
.all' taxes against said property 'have';
been paid, in 'full,
(c)The ,building -to, be moved must cons-

(d) That upon compliance with sub -!
paragraphs (a.), (b.), and (c.) of
this section the Building Inspector,
Licensee and Applicant; shall per -
sonally submit the application to thel
Planning Commission for approval
and recommendation to the Village
Council at the next stated meeting
of said Commission. The Planning;
Commission shall determine whetb-
er such application shall conform
to the • immediate surrounding com
munity. The Planning Commission
in its discretion shall call a public.

a radius of 300 feet from subecC

public meeting is held, the Plan-
ning Commission will determine the
application on its merits and make
its recommendation to the Village.

Section 3.1006. Removal of Wires. In
every' case in which a permit shall be
issued, as herein provided, for the re-
moval of a building, when such removal '
requires the displacement of any overhead .
electrical or 'other wires, it shall be the
duty of the person, association, or cor-
poration owning, operating or controlling -
such wires - to remove or replace the 'same,_,
so far a; the same may be necessary to
effect the removal of said building to the
, to which the removal thereof shall
be authorized by such permit.'
.. The person to whom said permit shall
have been _issued shall notify the person,'
association, or corporation owning, oper-
ating or controlling said wires t , oremove
or displace the same to facilitate the re-
moval of said building, and shall, at the
same time, exhibit to said person, associ -,
ating or controlling said wires to remove:
permit authorizing the- removal of said
building, and it shall thereupon be the)
duty of said person, association or cor
poration, within twenty -four (24) hours;
thereafter, to remove or displace said wires
sufficiently to allow the passage .of said
building along the street. over which said
wires are suspended.
Any expenses, incurred or to be in-
curred in the moving,. =removing or dis-
placing of such wires` shall be paid for by
the person . wbo makes application for said
permit, -
Section 3 -1007. Hours. No building shall
be moved across any railroad or bridge.

2. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its regular pub-
lication.
