HomeMy WebLinkAbout1952-05 09-24 CCO Fed`, • • 0 4. • 1'� AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUILDING CODE BY SETTING FORTH CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF WELLS The Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn Center does ordain as follows: The Building Code of the Village of Brooklyn Center enacted on August 14, 1946 is hereby amended by adding to Section 15 of said ordinance the following: All wells constructed in the Village of Brooklyn Center which are intended to provide water for human consumption shall be 50 feet in depth or below an impervious formation whichever is the deeper. Within ten days after constructing a well, the owner or person constructing the well shall file an affidavit with the Building Inspector setting forth the depth of the well, the method of construction, the size of the casing used, if any, and the pumping level.
