ACCEPTANCE OF ORDINANCE NO. 18
VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CENTER, HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: That
WHEREAS the Village Council of the Village of Brooklyn
Center, Hennepin County, Minnesota, on the 11th day of July, A.D.
1936, passed and adopted Ordinance No. 18 entitled:
"AN ORDINANCE GRANTING PERMISSION TO THE MINNEAPOLIS
GENERAL ELECTRIC COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS,
TO ERECT, ENLARGE, OPERATE AND MAINTAIN, IN THE
VILLAGE OF BROOKLYN CENTER, MINNESOTA, TRANSMISSION
LINES AND ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTING SYSTEM, INCLUDING
NECESSARY POLE LINES, MASTS, WIRES AND FIXTURES, FOR
THE FURNISHING OF' ELECTRIC ENERGY 1TO THE VILLAGE AND
ITS INHABITANTS, AND TRANSMITTING ELECTRIC ENERGY
INTO AND THROUGH THE VILLAGE, AND TO USE THE STREETS,
ALLEYS AND PUBLIC GROUNDS OF SAID VILLAGE FOR SUCH
PURPOSES ",
which Ordinance was duly published according to law on the 31st day
of December, 1936, in the Osseo Press, a newspaper printed and
published in the Village of Osseo, Hennepin County, Minnesota, and
of general circulation in said Village of Brooklyn Center and County
of Hennepin and State of Minnesota;
NOW, THEREFORE, The Minneapolis General Electric Company,
a New Jersey corporation, for itself and its successors and assigns,
does hereby accept all the terms and conditions o f
said Ordinance.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF The Minneapolis General Electric Company
has caused these presents to be executed in its corporate name by its
proper officers thereunto duly authoriz and its corporate seal to

This instrument merely confirms title already vested
in the party of the second part to the property hereinbefore
described; all of the estate, property rights, privileges
and franchises of the party of the first part are vested in,
and now held and enjoyed by the party of the second part,
subject to all liabilities and obligations of the party of
the first part and the rights of all creditors thereof, by
.Virtue of the statutory merger, effected as of August 29, 1941,
of The Minneapolis General Electric Company (a New Jersey
corporation)., party of the first part herein, St. Croix Falls
Minnesota Improvement Company (a Minnesota corporation) and
Minnesota Brush Electric Company (a Minnesota corporation) into
Northern States Power Company (a Minnesota corporation), party
of the second part,herein, in pursuance of Title 14 of the New
Jersey Revised Statutes for 1937 and Chapter 55 of Mason's
Minnesota Statutes, 1935 Supplement, of the State of Minnesota.
IN TESTIMONY WHr the said party of the first part

Furber regarding out electric rates in the Village of Brooklyn
Center.
Attached hereto are copies of our present and pro-
posed rates which are the same as rates recently announced in
the City of Minneapolis, and we are pleased to advise that these
