Adjournment • • Member introduced the following resolution and moved its • adoption: EDA RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDED AND RESTATED DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT WITH TALISMAN, LLC WHEREAS, the Economic Development Authority (EDA) of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, adopted EDA Resolution No. 00 -05 approving a redevelopment agreement with Talisman, LLC after the City Council of the City of Brooklyn Center had conducted a public hearing on January 24, 2000, and recommended approval of a redevelopment agreement with Talisman, LLC; and WHEREAS, Talisman, LLC has requested amendments to the dates set forth in the development agreement that would provide the developer with additional time to complete the minimum improvements and the Dayton's minimum improvements specified in the agreement authorized under EDA Resolution No. 00 -05; and WHEREAS, there is no change in the business subsidy proposed to be granted to Talisman, LLC for the redevelopment of the Brookdale Mall; and WHEREAS, changing the dates for commencement and completion of the minimum improvements and Dayton's minimum improvements as requested by Talisman, LLC are acceptable to the EDA. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the EDA in and for the City of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, that the President and Executive Director be and hereby are authorized to execute the amended and restated development agreement which is set forth as Exhibit A to this resolution and incorporated herein by reference.
