This year 66 individuals, two churches, two elementary schools, and eight businesses and organizations were nominated to receive recognition for their Random Bob and Shirley Schon receive award from Mayor Willson Acts of Kindness. Most students participate in a class 2 -3 times before progressing to the next level. Children's classes, including gymnastics, are conducted more smoothly when not being observed by parents. Children, as well as adults, need to spend time interacting with their peers in a recreation setting. SilverSneakers® Fitness Program classes and use of the Brooklyn Center Community Center pool, exercise room and sauna are offered at no cost to eligible members with a qualifying health plan.
