Highway 100 Reconstruction
Reconstruction of Highway 100 is scheduled to start in the spring of 2000. The proposed design incorporates
a variety of safety, operational, bike, pedestrian, and aesthetic improvements, which were developed and
designed with citizen and public officials' input and support. Reconstruction of Highway 100 from Glenwood
Avenue to 50th Avenue North is divided into five segments. When all five segments are complete, there will
be six travel lanes from Interstate 394 to County Road 81 and four lanes north of County Road 81.

The Brooklyn Center Community Center "PLAY CORNER" will be provided for parents attending morning classes, programs, meetings,
or swimming at the Brooklyn Center Community Center. The cost is $1.25 per child for an hour and a half. Additional time is $1 an hour. The
minimum age is four months. (Babies under four months in infant seats may accompany parents to their classes.) On non - school days,
elementary age children are welcome to go to the "PLAY CORNER ". The "PLAY CORNER" is open, Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. -
12:15 p.m., Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 5:45 - 8:15 p.m. CLOSED Wednesday. After classes or swimming, parents are invited to relax
in our concession area before picking up their child.

The Brooklyn Center Gymnastics Program has been developed using a skill progression of classes. The purpose of this progression is to provide

The adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort of the cities of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Golden Valley, Maple Grove,
New Hope, Plymouth, Robbinsdale and West Hennepin Community Services. Participants must preregister. For persons not living in one
of the communities listed above, call for registration information and add $5 to the fee. West Hennepin Community Center is an agency serving
individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in the West and Northwest Hennepin areas. Services include information and
