Filings For Council Close Brookdale Remodeling Plans On Display at Mall

Brooklyn Center Police Officer Scott Nadeau graduated from
Metropolitan State University in June 1998, being selected North Mississippi Regional Park Trail

Charter Commission
Seeks Volunteers
The Brooklyn Center Charter Commission has openings for
commissioners. This is a voluntary position of civic
participation. The Charter Commission meets once a month,
generally the fourth Wednesday of the month, 7 p.m. at City
Hall.
The Charter Commission reviews the City's Charter, which
is the governing constitution of the City. Interested persons
may call City Clerk Sharon Knutson at 569 -3300 for more
information. Final appointment is made by the Fourth
Judicial District Court.

This summer the Fire Chief has received several Emergency 911

CHILDCARE SERVICE - MIN. AGE 4 MONTHS
The Brooklyn Center Community Center "PLAY CORNER" will be provided for parents attending morning classes, programs, meetings
or swimming at the Brooklyn Center Community Center. The cost is $1.25 per child for an hour and a half. Additional time is $1 an hour.
The minimum age is four months. (Babies under four months in infant seats may accompany parents to their classes.) On non-school days,
elementary age children are welcome to go to the "PLAY CORNER". The "PLAY CORNER" will be open regular hours, Monday-Friday, 9
a.m. -12:15 p.m. beginning September 18 and for Tuesday evening classes beginning September 22. After classes or swimming, parents are
invited to relax in our concession area before picking up their child.
The North View "PLAY ROOM" Childcare will be offered for the Thursday evening exercise classes by pre registration beginning
September 24. If you need childcare, please register your child by indicating on the form the evening dates you are scheduling to use this
service. The cost below is per child, per class. The pre-registration deadline is Sept. 24.
