COMMUNITY TRIPSTERS
Community Tripsters is a program for people age 55 years and older who enjoy getting away and meeting new
friends. We live in an area which offers a multitude of fun and educational opportunities! Our trips allow you to
eat at wonderful restaurants and experience a host of remarkable recreational activities. Transits or
motorcoach buses are used for day outings. Bus departs and returns to Brooklyn Center Community Center.
REGISTRATION for trips are ACCEPTED IMMEDIATELY by mail or in person, no phone registrations.
Deadline dates listed are on a space permitting basis only. Refunds given only if trip is cancelled or a substitute
can be found to take your place. On extended trips, refund policies are very liberal. For more information, call

May 10 -12 - BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, PELLA TULIP FESTIVAL & SCENIC VALLEY
RAILROAD TOUR. This exciting itinerary takes us to Iowa for a scenic 14 mile train trip through the Des
Moines River Valley; Pella, for the celebration of spring during the beautiful tulip festival and Winterset which
has become famous for the book and upcoming movie, "Bridges of Madison County." Other tour highlights
include: Pella Historical Village & Volksparade, John Wayne's birthplace, Mamie Eisenhower's birthplace and
