EAC MEETING MINUTES
FEBRUARY 8, 2006
COMMUNITY CENTER ROOM 221
1. Call to Order
The EAC meeting was called to order at 9:30 a.m.
2. Roll Call
Members Present: Jill Berger, Rick Nelson, Doc Miller, Virginia Carter, Matt Koegl, Sue
Remjeske, Danna Mickelson, George Jennrich and Tom Bublitz.
3. Approval of Minutes- January 24, 2006

The January 242006 meeting minutes were approved.
4. CEAP Food Drive
The upcoming CEAP Food Drive was discussed. Tom Bublitz was to check with CEAP
regarding dates for the drive and information about CEAP for employees who were not
familiar with CEAP.
5. Employee Cookbook- Update
Mary Spah has a number of cookbooks available. Sue Remjeske will contact Mary
regarding notifying people of cookbooks.
6. Other Discussion
Discussion focused on scope and purpose of EAC. Issues and questions raised included
Purpose of EAC is unclear especially to new members.
Difficult to create opportunities for employee interaction in part due to divided
“campuses’.
Employee participation in many EAC events/projects is low.
Past fund raising activities, cookbook sales, Logo clothing, taste tests, etc. have
had mixed results.
What do similar groups in other cities do for projects, activities.
Should the EAC consider disbanding if employee participation remains low.
Possible change could be to establish committees for specific projects/activities
such as food drives, blood drives, holiday luncheon etc.
Committee members agreed to invite the City Manager to the next EAC meeting to
discuss the status of the EAC.
7. March Meeting

The March EAC meeting will be held on March 8 in the Council Commission Room in
the lower level of City Hall beginning at 9:30 a.m.
8. Adjournment
The EAC adjourned at 10:40 a.m.
