EAC Meeting Minutes
January 19, 2005
Members Present:
Karen Casto, Mary Beaudette, Becky Boie, Sue Remjeske,

Meeting Called To Order
Introduction of New EAC Members:
Sue Remjeske, Danna Mickelson
Elected Co-Chairs for 2005:
Karen Casto and Mary Beaudette
Purpose of EAC:
Defined the Scope, Purpose, Duties and Responsibilities of the
EAC Committee with its newest members. A decision was made by
attendee’s to change the monthly EAC meeting to the Third Tuesday
of every month at 930am.

Overview of 2004 EAC Activities:
A) CEAP Spring Food Drive
– The food drive will run January 31 - Feb 11, 2005.
Danna will contact CEAP to check on their food needs & will create a poster for all
th
departments to post in their office by Jan 28. Karen suggested we notify each
employee by email regarding the food drive to save employee time
and paper costs! Danna will put together a flyer for each department to post by
January 28. Mike McCauley will make cookies for the winning team.
B) Click a Chick –
This was a program offered by Golden Plump who donated chicken
for area food shelves everytime you clicked on their website. EAC will not be
participating in 2005.
C) Flowers for Central Park
– March Agenda. Planting takes place in May.
D) Employee Picnic
– Held in July at the City Garage. Planning takes place in April.
E)Cookbook
- Task completed but more to sell! This was a one-time fundraising
event For EAC. Karen will contact Patti Page and find out how many cookbooks are
left. It was suggested we could sell them to the public and display them at different
locations such as City Hall, Community Center, Heritage Center. Karen will check
with Mike McCauley for approval.
F) Bloodmobile
– Held at City Hall in August
GGolf Outing
) – Held in September. Usually planned by George Jennrich.
HCEAP Fall Food Drive
) -Held late September. Planning takes place in August.
I)Timberwolves Tickets
- Discounted Game Tickets for City Employee’s. EAC
should follow up to see how employee response was.
J) Holiday Luncheon
– Held in December at Constitution Hall. Planning begins in
October.
Next Meeting:
The next meeting will be held at the Police Department on
February 15, 2005 at 930am.
