Dinner Cruise Survey
Out of 34 surveys returned, 22 show interest in participating in an EAC Dinner Cruise.
St. Croix was selected as the first choice destination and Friday night worked best with
most schedules.
Danna will research availability and pricing and report to the committee next month. A
possible date will be selected at that time.
Flowers – Update
Joyce Gulseth – Planting will take place the end of May or early June. The outside
gardens still need prep work and perennials need to be cut down. Volunteers will be
needed.
Details to come as the weather warms up!
Employee Clothing
Clothing catalogues were reviewed and logo selection options were finalized. Employees
will have the option of purchasing clothing with the City Logo and Department name or
just the Department name. Karen Casto will contact Fanfare Promotions to get samples of
the clothing. Once that is done a schedule will be determined so each department has the
opportunity to see the items that are available for sale.
Other Discussions
A few committee members have checked into discount ticket sales for ValleyFair,
Renaissance Festival, AMC, etc. and discovered that the discount ticket prices offered are
not a good deal. The County Credit Union sells a wide variety of discounted tickets,
which are cheaper than the price quotes EAC received. Karen will notify all employees
by e-mail or the employee newsletter about the option of purchasing discount tickets
through the Credit Union
CEAP
The next food drive winners will be determined by the number of donations only – not
the number of donations per employees.
Picnic
th
The City Picnic is tentatively scheduled for July 20 at the city garage. EAC will provide
desserts.
Next EAC meeting is May 17, 2005 at EBHC.
